Taking care of your Android battery
After talking about initialization of a Li-ion battery, now we try to understand how to take care of it. A lithium-ion battery is totally different than an old NiCd (nickel-cadmium) battery, so we have to forget all its problems, like the memory effect . But obviously, these batteries have some other issues that could be avoided by following these tips. AVOID HIGH TEMPERATURE The rate of degradation of lithium-ion batteries is strongly temperature-dependent; they degrade much faster if stored or used at higher temperatures. According to Battery University , the recommended storage temperature for most batteries is 15°C (59°F), and the extreme allowable temperature is 50°C (122°F). I think it's better if you stop using your device if temperature is over than 40°C (104°F). It's important to avoid high temperatures also when your smart phone is charging. So be careful and keep your device cool! DON'T LET IT TURN OFF Charging Li-ion batteries from zero reduces its capacity...
